Terms of Service

By accessing or using Flux ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Flux Is

Flux is a personal finance tracking dashboard that connects to your bank accounts to provide spending insights, budgeting tools, savings tracking, and a consolidated view of your financial life.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Flux. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Flux for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Service.
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the Service.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

4. Not Financial Advice

Flux is a financial tracking tool for informational purposes only. We are not a financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary. Nothing displayed in Flux constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for any financial decisions you make.

5. Subscription & Billing

Flux costs $6 per month, billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

6. Bank Data

Flux accesses your bank account data through Plaid, acting on your behalf and with your explicit authorization. We store transaction history, account balances, and account metadata to provide the Service. You can disconnect accounts and delete stored data at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

Flux is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flux shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Flux is not liable for any financial decisions made using information provided by the platform.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to Flux or other users. You may also delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice within the Flux application. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
